Skip the Hub: Lexington to Omaha

There is a category of meeting where showing up is the entire point: the pitch, the committee, the signing. Being the party who could not make the date work is a bad position to negotiate from. The Lexington–Omaha pair is a clean example: 557 nm apart, and awkward by every scheduled option.

Nobody is driving 12 h 12 m each way for a meeting, so the real comparison is the airline routing — and between Lexington and Omaha that typically means a connection, a total block time well over half a day, and an arrival window you do not control. A single segment removes the misconnect risk rather than managing it.

Blue Grass Airport and Eppley Airfield are both business-aviation fields with private terminals, so the ten-minutes-before-departure arrival holds at each end.
