Private charter is sold two ways. Brokers sell access — they find whatever aircraft is available near you and mark it up, which means the quality of your trip depends on who happened to have an aircraft free that day. Operators sell their own fleet, and the aircraft is the product.
Halcyon is the second kind, narrowed further: one aircraft type, the Cirrus Vision Jet, and nothing else. That is a real constraint. If you need to move eight people to Europe we are the wrong call and will tell you so immediately rather than sourcing it and taking a margin.
What that constraint buys is competence in a specific shape of trip: two to four people, a regional pair inside 600 nautical miles, into an airport near where you are actually going. That covers most business flying, and it is the segment where the Vision Jet's short field, low operating cost, and safety systems all point the same direction.
The booking process is deliberately unglamorous. Send us the trip. We come back with a single all-in figure — flight time, positioning, fuel, taxes, landing and handling — usually within the hour during business hours. If we cannot do it well, we say so.

Get an all-in number
One figure covering flight time, positioning, fuel, federal excise tax, and landing and handling at both ends. If positioning is driving the price we will tell you, and often suggest a change that removes it.
We confirm the aircraft can do it
Runway length, field elevation, forecast conditions, and the payload against the fuel plan. Any constraint gets raised before you commit, not at the ramp on the day.
Arrive ten minutes before
Private terminal at both ends. No screening, no gate, no boarding group. You park, walk to the aircraft, and go.

What is Cirrus Vision Jet charter?
On-demand private flights in a Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 — a single-engine personal jet carrying four passengers at 311 KTAS. It is the least expensive jet to charter per hour, and its 3,192-foot balanced field opens airports most light jets cannot use. Halcyon is a broker: we arrange it, an FAA Part 135 operator flies it.
How many passengers can charter a Vision Jet?
Four, every flight, with 32 cubic feet of baggage. The airframe is certified for more, but four is the load that works with fuel and luggage on a regional leg, so it is the number we quote against.
How far in advance should I book?
Many legs can be arranged inside 24 hours when the aircraft is available, which is the point of the product for urgent site visits and escalations. Quarter end and conference weeks book out further. We will tell you honestly when a date is tight rather than holding the request open.
Do you fly internationally?
This network is domestic U.S. The aircraft is capable of Caribbean and near-Canada operations and we will quote those on request, but the pairs published here are the ones we charter routinely and can price reliably.
What if my airport is not listed?
The directory covers 74 markets we charter regularly. The Vision Jet operates from roughly five thousand U.S. airports. If yours has 3,000 feet of paved runway, it is probably a leg we can arrange — ask.
Is charter cheaper than a jet card or fractional ownership?
For most people who fly a handful of times a year, yes. Cards buy rate certainty and guaranteed availability, and fractional ownership buys a share of an asset. On-demand charter has no capital commitment and no unused balance, which suits irregular flying better than either.
